Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing America's Math Tutor and Big Brain Math Academy.

We are committed to providing high-quality educational experiences while maintaining fair and transparent refund policies.

Please review this Refund Policy carefully before enrolling in any program, membership, or service.

1. Homeschool Program Refund Policy

The Big Brain Math Academy Homeschool Program is a full-year educational program with limited enrollment.

🎉 14-Day Risk-Free Trial

We want families to enroll with confidence.

New homeschool families may request a full refund within the first 14 calendar days of their student's first class if they determine the program is not a good fit.

To qualify:

The request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the student's first class.
The student must have attended at least one live class.
The family must submit the request through our website contact form or by email.

If approved:

Enrollment will be canceled.
Tuition paid to date will be refunded in full.

The 14-Day Risk-Free Trial applies only to first-time homeschool enrollments and may only be used once per family.

Before Classes Begin

Families may cancel enrollment for a full refund within 7 days of registration, provided classes have not yet started.

After the 14-Day Trial Period

After the 14-Day Risk-Free Trial expires:

Tuition payments become non-refundable.
Enrollment fees become non-refundable.
Missed classes are non-refundable.
Student withdrawals are non-refundable.

Families enrolled in payment plans may cancel future payments at any time. Payments already made are non-refundable.

2. Big Brain Math League Refund Policy

🆓 7-Day Free Trial

The Big Brain Math League may offer a free 7-day trial.

Families are responsible for canceling before the end of the trial period if they do not wish to continue.

If the membership converts to a paid membership, charges become non-refundable.

Monthly Memberships

Membership fees are non-refundable.

Members may cancel at any time to prevent future billing.

Cancellation:

Stops future billing
Does not refund prior payments
Does not provide prorated refunds

Membership access continues until the end of the current billing period.

Founding Memberships

Founding Memberships are promotional memberships offered at discounted rates.

Founding Membership fees are non-refundable.

Founding Member pricing is retained only while membership remains active and in good standing.

If a membership is canceled, the lifetime founding rate may be forfeited.

3. Big Brain Summer Math League Refund Policy

The Big Brain Summer Math League is a limited-time 4-week program.

Before July 6, 2026

Families may cancel for a full refund at any time before the first session begins.

Beginning July 6, 2026

Once the first session begins:

No refunds will be issued.
No prorated refunds will be issued.
No credits will be issued.
Missed sessions are non-refundable.

Students may continue participating for the remainder of the program.

4. Tutoring Services

Individual Tutoring

Sessions canceled at least 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled.

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

Small-Group Tutoring

Small-group tutoring fees are non-refundable.

Missed sessions are not eligible for refunds.

5. Classroom and School Licenses

Classroom License

Up to 15 students

School License

Up to 100 students

Licenses are non-refundable once access has been granted.

License terms run from July 1 through June 30.

Refunds, prorations, or credits are not available once a license becomes active.

6. Free Pilot Programs

Pilot programs are provided at no cost.

Pilot programs:

Are non-transferable
Have no cash value
Do not guarantee future pricing
Do not guarantee future availability

Pilot participants are under no obligation to purchase a license after completion.

7. Prizes, Golden Tickets, and Championship Events

Participation in Golden Ticket programs, championships, leaderboards, Prize Vaults, raffles, and recognition programs does not guarantee prizes.

Prize availability may vary based on:

Enrollment levels
Availability
Vendor supply
Program participation

We reserve the right to:

Substitute prizes
Modify prize offerings
Change eligibility requirements
Cancel prize programs

Enrollment-based prizes are not guaranteed.

Prizes may be replaced with items of equal or greater value.

No cash substitutions will be provided.

8. Technology Issues

America's Math Tutor and Big Brain Math Academy are not responsible for interruptions caused by:

Internet outages
Device failures
Power outages
Zoom outages
Software issues
Third-party platform failures

Refunds will not be issued for technology problems outside our control.

If a class or event is canceled due to an issue on our end, we may provide:

A makeup session
Account credit
A prorated refund

at our sole discretion.

9. Promotions and Discounts

Promotional offers including:

Founding Membership discounts
Sibling discounts
Coupon codes
Special promotions

are:

Non-transferable
Non-refundable
Not redeemable for cash

Promotions may be modified or discontinued at any time.

10. Chargebacks

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated through a financial institution, access to programs and services may be suspended pending resolution.

We encourage families to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback so we can attempt to resolve concerns.

11. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations may arise.

Requests outside this Refund Policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of America's Math Tutor and Big Brain Math Academy.

Approval of one exception does not obligate us to approve future exceptions.
