Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing Big Brain Math Academy and America's Math Tutor. We strive to provide high-quality educational services and a positive learning experience for all students and families.
Please review our refund policy carefully before enrolling in any program or purchasing a membership.
Homeschool Program Refund Policy
The Big Brain Math Academy Homeschool Program is a year-long educational program with limited enrollment.
14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee
We want families to feel confident when enrolling in our homeschool program.
New families may request a full refund within the first 14 calendar days of the program if they determine the program is not a good fit for their student.
To qualify for the 14-Day Satisfaction Guarantee:
- The request must be submitted within 14 calendar days of the student's first class.
- The student must have attended at least one live class.
- The family must notify us in writing through our website contact form.
If approved, all tuition paid to date will be refunded and enrollment will be canceled.
This guarantee applies only to first-time homeschool program enrollments and may only be used once per family.
Before Classes Begin
Families may cancel enrollment for a full refund within 7 days of registration, provided that classes have not yet started.
After the Satisfaction Guarantee Period
After the 14-day satisfaction guarantee period expires, tuition payments become non-refundable.
No refunds will be issued for:
- Missed classes
- Student withdrawal
- Schedule conflicts
- Failure to attend
- Dissatisfaction resulting from lack of participation
Families enrolled in a monthly payment plan may cancel future recurring payments at any time, but payments already made are non-refundable.
Summer Boot Camp Refund Policy
More Than 14 Days Before Start Date
Families may request a full refund.
7–13 Days Before Start Date
Families may request a 50% refund.
Less Than 7 Days Before Start Date
No refunds will be issued.
After Boot Camp Begins
No refunds will be issued once the student's first class has taken place.
Big Brain Math League Membership Refund Policy
Monthly Memberships
Membership fees are non-refundable.
Members may cancel at any time to prevent future charges.
Cancellation will stop future billing but will not result in a refund of payments already made.
Free Trial Memberships
Families participating in a free trial are responsible for canceling before the trial period ends if they do not wish to continue.
If the trial converts to a paid membership, charges are non-refundable.
Tutoring Services
Individual Tutoring Sessions
Tutoring sessions canceled at least 24 hours in advance may be rescheduled.
Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for a refund or rescheduling.
Group Tutoring Sessions
Group tutoring fees are non-refundable.
Assessments
Free assessments are provided at no cost and are therefore not eligible for refunds.
Paid assessments, evaluations, or placement services are non-refundable once delivered.
Technical Issues
We are not responsible for interruptions caused by:
- Internet outages
- Power outages
- Device failures
- Zoom outages
- Third-party software issues
Refunds will not be issued for technology problems outside our control.
If a class is canceled due to an issue on our end, we may provide:
- A makeup session
- Account credit
- A prorated refund
at our discretion.
Membership Promotions and Discounts
Founding Memberships, promotional pricing, coupon codes, sibling discounts, and special offers are non-transferable and have no cash value.
Refunds will not be provided due to the expiration of promotional offers.
Chargebacks
If a chargeback is initiated through a bank or credit card company, access to programs and services may be suspended pending resolution.
We encourage families to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback so that we can work together to resolve concerns.
Exceptional Circumstances
We understand that unexpected situations may arise.
Requests for refunds outside of this policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Big Brain Math Academy.
Approval of one exception does not create an obligation to grant future exceptions.
