Refund Policy

Thank you for choosing America's Math Tutor.

America's Math Tutor offers programs with limited enrollment. Because instructional materials are prepared in advance and space is reserved for each participant, please review the following Refund Policy carefully before enrolling in any program or service.

1. Books & Buckets

Books & Buckets is a weekly literacy and basketball enrichment program with limited enrollment.

Each weekly registration reserves your child's place for one reading week, the associated Reading Challenge Quiz, and the Saturday basketball session.

Weekly Enrollment

Weekly tuition includes:

  • 📚 Books and reading materials (when applicable)
  • 🏠 Five at-home reading assignments
  • 💻 Daily online Reading Checks
  • 📝 The weekly Reading Challenge Quiz
  • 🏀 The Saturday basketball session (for students who successfully pass the Reading Challenge Quiz)
  • ✔ A reserved space in the program

Because enrollment is limited and program materials are prepared in advance, weekly tuition is non-refundable once payment has been processed.

Families may cancel enrollment at any time to prevent future weekly charges.

Cancellation will:

  • Stop future billing
  • Allow the student to complete any week that has already been paid for
  • Not refund payments that have already been processed
  • Not provide prorated refunds or credits for missed reading assignments or basketball sessions

Reading Challenge Requirement

Books & Buckets is built around the principle:

Read at Home. Pass the Quiz. Earn the Court.

Students must score 80% or higher (4 out of 5 correct) on the weekly Reading Challenge Quiz to participate in that week's basketball session.

Students who do not achieve the required passing score will not be admitted to the basketball session for that week.

Because the student's place in the program, staffing, facility rental, and instructional materials have already been reserved, failure to achieve a passing score does not qualify for a refund, credit, makeup session, or transfer to another week.

Likewise, missed Reading Checks, Reading Challenge Quizzes, and basketball sessions are not eligible for refunds, credits, or makeup sessions.

2. Big Brain Math League (BBML)

Big Brain Math League memberships are billed on a recurring basis.

Free Trial

If a free trial is offered, families are responsible for canceling before the trial ends to avoid future charges.

If a membership converts to a paid membership, all charges become non-refundable.

Monthly Memberships

Monthly membership fees are non-refundable.

Members may cancel at any time to prevent future billing.

Cancellation will:

  • Stop future billing
  • Not refund previous payments
  • Not provide prorated refunds

Membership access continues until the end of the current billing period.

3. Tutoring Services

Individual Tutoring

Appointments canceled at least 24 hours before the scheduled session may be rescheduled.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.

Small-Group Tutoring

Small-group tutoring fees are non-refundable.

Missed sessions are not eligible for refunds, credits, or makeup sessions.

4. Technology Issues

America's Math Tutor is not responsible for interruptions caused by:

  • Internet outages
  • Device failures
  • Power outages
  • Zoom outages
  • Software issues
  • Third-party platform failures

Refunds will not be issued for circumstances beyond our control.

If a class or program is canceled because of an issue on our end, we may, at our sole discretion, provide one of the following:

  • A makeup session
  • Account credit
  • A prorated refund

5. Promotions and Discounts

Promotional offers, including:

  • Coupon codes
  • Sibling discounts
  • Special enrollment pricing
  • Limited-time promotions

are:

  • Non-transferable
  • Non-refundable
  • Not redeemable for cash

America's Math Tutor reserves the right to modify or discontinue promotions at any time without notice.

6. Chargebacks

If a chargeback or payment dispute is initiated through a financial institution, access to America's Math Tutor programs and services may be suspended while the dispute is being investigated.

We encourage families to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback so we have an opportunity to resolve any concerns.

7. Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations sometimes occur.

Refund requests outside this Refund Policy may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of America's Math Tutor.

Approval of one exception does not guarantee approval of future requests.

9. Acceptance of This Policy

By enrolling in any America's Math Tutor program or service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.

If you are enrolling a minor child, you represent that you are the child's parent or legal guardian and have the authority to accept this Refund Policy on the child's behalf.
