Welcome!

Today, you'll complete a short multiplication challenge that will help us see where you're starting.

Don't worry—this is NOT a grade, and it's not something you can pass or fail.

The purpose of this challenge is to measure your growth so we can celebrate your progress throughout the month.

At the end of the program, you'll be able to see exactly how much you've improved.

Directions

  • You will have 3 minutes to answer 30 multiplication questions.

  • Do NOT use a calculator.

  • Answer as many questions as you can.

  • If you get stuck, skip the problem and come back to it later.

  • Do your best, but don't stress. This is only your starting point.

Remember

Speed is important, but accuracy matters too.

This is your opportunity to show what you already know.

There is no penalty for wrong answers, and you do not have to finish every problem to be successful.

Ready?

Let's see where your multiplication journey begins!

Parent Note

This Launch Challenge will be compared to a Midpoint Challenge and a Championship Challenge later in the program to measure your child's growth in multiplication fluency.

Parents will receive a progress report showing growth in:

  • Accuracy

  • Speed

  • Multiplication Fluency

  • Overall Improvement

Because at Big Brain, we don't just practice—we measure progress and celebrate growth.
